Mar 17 2026: Web

  • Improvement: Membership imports now appear in the Activity Log, and include info about how many memberships were imported and from which Google Sheet.
  • Improvement: The Test Webhook button for memberships now sends the test via the server, matching the behavior of real webhook events. This resolves failures when the destination URL doesn’t support CORS. The memberships webhook can be tested under Settings > Theater Setup > Memberships. Read more about the Memberships webhook.
  • Various under-the-hood fixes and improvements.

Feb 17 2026: Web

  • Improvement: Auditoriums now have two separate screen fields: Screen Display Name (used where the Screen Number field was previously) and Screen Number (numeric-only, used for third-party integrations). Your existing Screen Number values have been moved to the Screen Display Name field, and numbers have been extracted into the Screen Number field where possible.
  • Fix: Discount usage counts are now correctly reduced when a discounted ticket or product is refunded, including per-showtime and per-product limits.
  • Fix: Refunds issued on past showtimes are now displayed in the Sales Summary report.
  • Fix: Sales dashboard charts now display accurate comparison values when hovering over data points in week view.
  • Various minor fixes and improvements.

Feb 03 2026: Web

  • New: If you manage a membership program, duplicate customers can now be merged when updating a member’s email to one already in use by an another customer. When you save the membership update page, you’ll see options to merge the customers or keep them separate.
  • Fix: Shows with past start dates and no upcoming showtimes now display “Not Currently Showing” instead of “Opens on [past date]”.
  • Fix: Campaign emails now order the Coming Soon section by showtime start date instead of publish date.
  • Fix: Reactivations value now displays in the correct position in the Active Memberships chart tooltip (Weekly view).
  • Fix: Membership lookup in the Box Office app will always display the member’s name alongside their email address.
  • Various minor fixes and improvements.

Jan 21 2026: Web

  • Improvement: The Memberships report now includes renewal payments in the Last Payment and Total Paid columns when a member has paid for their renewal in advance.
  • Improvement: Memberships report now includes an “Imported?” column showing whether each membership was imported using the import spreadsheet.
  • Improvement: Annual renewal reminder emails are now sent to members on private plans, as long as the private plan has at least one public membership plan offered at renewal. Admins can still control this per-plan by configuring the renewal reminder message field.
  • Improvement: Donation settings under Theater Setup > Sales now have clearer labels and descriptions.
  • Fix: It’s no longer possible to trash auditoriums or shows that have upcoming showtimes, and auditoriums or shows that have past showtimes can no longer be emptied from the trash.
  • Fix: Entering non-numeric characters in product price fields no longer causes errors.
  • Fix: Discounts now appear correctly in order confirmation emails re-sent from the Box Office app.
  • Fix: Date picker calendars in report filters now appear in the correct position instead of the top-left corner of the screen.
  • Fix: Corrected the description for the “Ticket limit on website” setting to accurately reflect required behavior.

  • New: Members can now request their renewal link via email on a dedicated page template. Create a page using the “Renewal Link Request” template to use this new feature.
  • New: Active Memberships chart is now available in the dashboard. Track membership counts or revenue over time, filter by plan.
  • Fix: Festival import spreadsheets now detect and flag duplicate auditorium IDs before importing.
  • Fix: Report date pickers now use the site’s time zone instead of the user’s local time zone, preventing incorrect date range selections.

Nov 22 2025: Web

  • New: Time-window controls for ticket scanning. You can now limit ticket scans to a configurable window before and after showtime start, with optional setting for the Box Office app. This helps prevent customers from presenting QR codes for the wrong showtime.
  • Improvement: Admin listing pages now display better on mobile devices, with improved filter visibility and pagination buttons.
  • Fix: Stripe alternative payment methods (such as Cash App) can now be downloaded in transaction reports without causing errors.
  • Fix: Festival site search dropdowns now display in alphabetical order.

Nov 12 2025: Web

  • Fix: Orders including donations now include correct totals and item details in confirmation emails.
  • Fix: Membership email address updates are now prevented if another customer already uses that address, eliminating duplicate customer creation.
  • Fix: Showtime Attendees reports now display discounted ticket types (e.g., “Ticket Type – Membership Plan”) for same-day and future showtimes.
  • Fix: Nightly Grosses reports with screen nodes enabled (required for Asia-Pacific region) now calculate gross amounts correctly for values over $1,000.
  • Fix: Charts no longer display membership and product data if those features are not enabled.
  • Fix: Third-party reporting section is no longer visible in the admin for festival sites.

Oct 14 2025: Web

  • Fix: Movie cast, country, and language fields now maintain their original order instead of being alphabetized when editing.
  • Fix: Membership confirmation pages now display at proper width on mobile devices.
  • Fix: Festivals – Card payment fields will appear as expected when adding a donation to an order with only free tickets.
  • Fix: Festivals – Overlay opacity now works correctly on festival hero slider sections with video backgrounds.
  • Fix: Annual memberships now correctly display the annual term even when monthly memberships are disabled. The term field and column now always appear in the membership plan editor and list.
  • Fix: Private membership plans can now be selected when linking membership plans across domains.
  • Improvement: Any role with permission to edit membership plans can now select linked membership plans.
  • Improvement: Clarified language on Upcoming Shows template. “Only Open-Captioned Showtimes” changed to “Open-Captioned Showtimes” with updated footnote explaining display behavior.
  • Improvement: Festivals – Updated venue Google Map URL field instructions to clarify required URL format.

Sep 10 2025: Web

  • New: Sales analytics charts are now available in the admin dashboard for showtimes, products, and total sales! Select a date range shortcut, compare to previous ranges, and group daily or weekly.
  • Fix: Corrected date display in “no showtimes available” message in the Now Playing panel.
  • Fix: Campaign test emails now properly display an error message when no promotion is attached.
  • Fix: Customer email alert settings no longer trigger false alerts for Box Office orders when blank lines are present.
  • Improvement: Membership signup forms now use clearer labeling – “Mailing address line 2” is now “Apartment / Suite / Etc.”
  • Improvement: Festival sponsor sections now include updated div containers with CSS-friendly classes.
