Release Notes

Fix: The status bar has been restored to the app.
Fix: Resolved an intermittent error that occurred on the Order Summary screen.
Fix: The keyboard now properly closes after tapping cancel while entering a manual card number.
Fix: Adding multiple gift cards to an order in quick succession no longer causes unexpected behavior.
Improvement: Various fixes and under-the-hood improvements to enhance overall stability and performance.

New: For cinemas, there is a new option for adding your Bluesky profile to the social icons in the header. Visit Settings > Website > Social to configure this option.
Improvement: The Sales Summary and Sales Detail reports are now available over a date range.
Improvement: The Seat Limit option on ticket types has been renamed to “GA Seat Limit” to clarify that it only applies to ticket types on General Admission showtimes. Additionally, the ticket type will now appear as sold out on your check out page once it has reached its limit, rather than disappearing, and it will become available again when you refund an order that contained that ticket type (there is no longer a need to reattach the ticket type to the showtime). We also fixed a bug that allowed a seat-limited ticket type to be oversold when an order was created on the web and box office at the same time.
Fix: Occasionally the randomly generated order IDs contained all numbers, which caused a problem with the ticket scanner. This has been fixed.
Miscellaneous performance improvements.

Fix: Resolved an issue in the API that caused the Box Office app to crash when users opened the seat map to edit reserved seats on an order but left the selections unchanged.

Fix: There will no longer be an “Unknown Error” listed on a campaign’s Event History when there were no available recipients at send time.
Improvement: Miscellaneous data cleanup tasks.

New: Renew annual memberships in the Box Office app! If your cinema sells annual memberships, you will have a new menu item at the top left called Memberships. Navigate there in order to add a membership renewal to the order.
Fix: Handle hiding and showing of software keyboard for those who are using a connected Bluetooth scanner or hardware keyboard.

Fix: Amount due on an exchange between different quantities of tickets will now be calculated correctly when there were booking fees on the original tickets. Note that booking fees paid on the original tickets will not be credited toward the amount due in the exchange.
Improvement: Various performance and cleanup tasks under the hood.

Enhancement: If Linked Memberships are in use, a column has been added to the Membership Plans listing for the linked membership plan
Fix: The “View” link on each showtime under Movies > Showtimes now points to the correct URL
Fix: It’s now possible to refund tickets from the order details page to a showtime that has been set to closed
Fix: Refunds and Exchanges on the same order can no longer be started at the same time from different staff IDs
Fix: Begin archiving orders more than 90 days old that were skipped during daylight savings on some sites
Fix: Nightly and weekly tasks will now run at the correct time when daylight savings changes

New: Additional reminder emails for annual memberships.
Enhancement: Added the ability to assign Alternate Codes to monthly memberships.
Enhancement: Login is no longer required on the membership Update / Renew pages if you are logged in to the admin.
Enhancement: Move the discount code field to the right side of the cart/checkout page on Festivals.
Enhancement: Only send one email to monthly members when their monthly payment succeeds; skip the one at midnight when their membership renews.

New: Sell tickets to multiple showtimes in a single order.
Fix: Adding concessions and gift cards to an order will now reset the inactivity timer.
Fix: Resolved an error when selling concessions with tickets to a showtime on a future date.

Enhancement: Refunding a GiftUp! gift card will now redeem the entire balance rather than void the card.
Enhancement: Backend updates to support the sale of multiple showtimes in one order from the Box Office app.
